Lusting over, Topshop!

MOTO cut off hotpants- £26

Pansy fit and flare dress- £29

Fern oversize roll sleeve tee- £15

Drop hem check shirt- £28

Just decided to have a quick look at the Topshop website as I feel like I haven't properly been shopping since I got back from my hols! Just thought I'd share with you a few things that I loveddd on the website!
I really really really love these shorts! The colour is lovely and really different and they're not that bad a price either! I think that Topshop Moto denim is quite good value for money and it seems to fit well and is usually flattering. These shorts are just calling out to me!
This dress is such a lovely print and a really flattering style and shape, I love my flowery dresses and I really like the pattern as its quite autumny but reminds me of summer so I think its quite a multi-seasonal dress!
The Tee is just a basic one but it's that lovely teal colour again that I love and I love that sort of, i'm not sure what to call it erm fuzzy print (haha) and the fact that its oversized I love!
I really like just red checked shirts and at first I wasn't sure about the dipped hem but actually I'm warming to it now as its quite different and would most probably look nice with leggings, shorts, jeans, lots of things!
Cannot wait to have some moneys to spend!
Will hopefully post tomorrow with an outfit post!

Long time no post

Hello to anyone out there, I haven't posted in a while as well, I was on holiday and then my email decided to mess up so that's been keeping me from this for a while and then I've been quite busy as I got myself an apprenticeship! I'm very very happy :), I was originally going to stay at my school sixth form but then decided to have a go at applying for an apprenticeship and Next and was very surprised to actually get it! I really really enjoy doing it and I would suggest to anyone to try and do one as it really is very good experience and you learn lots of really good skills to help you in the world of retail!
So yeah, been quite busy, hopefully will post a bit later or tomorrow with a proper post!

Outfit post; There's a leopard in the garden

Maxi Dress: Dorothy Perkins, Nails: using Marks and Spencers mint nailvarnish, Nails Inc in palace mews and the Models Own Wah nail pen.

Sorry again about the rubbishy webcam photos, my camera ran out of charge and I didn't have enough time to charge it blah blah blah. I'm seeing some friends today and they're bringing round fruit and croissants! YAY! Because to be honest we have like no food in the house at the moment :( BOO. I decided to wear my Dorothy Perkins floral maxi from last year, I always thought it was quite formal so haven't worn it too much yet but decided recently that its really nice for just lazying round in! I'm also quite proud of my nails today! I decided to try the leopard print nails that I see on a lot of blogs and it actually really worked! I thought it would be really fiddly to do but actually was really easy. I was a bit shaky using my left hand but that kinda added to the umm leopardness! I used my new Models Own Wah nail pen which is amazing and I would definitely recommend it! Anyways have to go , I'l hopefully squeeze in another post before I go on holsss but I  may be able to blog from there too, ahhh 3 more days :D

Photo of the day!

Ok so this isn't technically a photo that I have taken, but as I am sorting things out for FLORIDA! today I haven't taken any photos, particularly cause I've been doing so in my pyjamas. Anyway I've come away from the sorting for a while and I decided to search Vintage suitcases, no idea why, just was thinking of suitcases and holiday and then well yeah haha. I absolutely love these two! Mainly the top greeny one as I love the colour! I just think they are such a pretty lovely alternative to carrying around a normal suitcase, shame they probably cost 3 billion pounds or something, sigh. Also why I was searching around I came across this!...
THIS IS AMAZING! Its a suitcase (obviously) which has been fitted with mini little lights, drawers, a mirror and what I think is a jewellery holder! Isn't it just like the cutest thing ever, I want one! I love the map background on the right side and the way the suitcase looks all used and old. eeep! Unfortunately I don't think the store this came from sells them any more :(, you must be able to find some similar somewhere though? Or you could try to make your own? Just thought it was a pretty cool idea really, might try it myself! Hope you're having a lovely Sunday.

Photo of the day!

Todays photo of the day is actually from the other day when it was a bit sunnier. It was a really lovely hot day so I just chilled in the garden with some Pimms and lemonade and it was lovely, lying on the grass with a magazine and Pimms , mmm :).
And also just to tell you again about my Ebay sellingsss, just have a look incase there might be something on there, theres some sort of boys and children stuff on there too. I'm selling here and here because of the 10 item limit thing so please have a look at them and check back because I'm gonna put more on :). Thanks!

Outfit post; Here comes the sun & what I've bought (picture heavy!)

Dress: Vera Moda c/o boyfriend :), Shoes: Next, Cuff bracelet: House of Fraser

Today is quite a boring day, but at the same time quite a nice relaxing sunday. Think I'm finally going to see Harry Potter tonight! Yay! Been begging to go see it for ages now and I think tonight I finally will! Just been putting some things on Ebay today, please go and have a look at what I'm selling on there, just in case you fancy anything ;), more to come too so keep checking!
I really really love this dress, my boyfriend bought it for me as he is the most loveliest person and I'd seen it before and really loved it then :)! It has the sweetest floral print which is almost quite retro?! and I love the red colour, the way it fits at the waist and the cute little collar too! It could be one of my favourite dresses, and I love my dresses. I really like wearing my brogues with some pushed down white socks at the moment too, not quite sure why, just think it looks quite cute with a printed dress or some rolled up jeans. This cuff bracelet is really lovely too, it has cutout detail which is really lovely and makes it look quite expensive! Its quite nice just to put this on as you don't have to pile on loads of other jewellery with it.

Also just thought I'd show you some of the things I've been buying recently :) just in case anyone's interested haha :). I'l be in sunny Florida in just under two weeks, so been buying some things for that! Here we go....
Therapy Gingham dress, bought for me by my auntie :) with a white belt in the middle, the fit is lovely!

I bought these sand River Island shorts at the beginning of the summer and I've been saving them till my holiday, how I have I do not know, I love the studs at the side!
Just a little striped polo top from H&M but ridiculously comfy material and fit and will be lovely and light for trekking round theme parks.

Printed Coral summer dress from H&M, lovely sale price of £3! Perfect for wearing round the pool or water park!

Badly photographed Topshop Moto jeans, they look a really funny shape here for some reason. But I assure you that they are nice on! Got them in the sale! For £25 so happppy:)

And my new favourite possesion! My new Toms! I've wanted a pair of these for a while now and when my family went on a holiday shop yesterday I had to try and get some! When I went into the actual Office store they only had a red pair with the stripes in my size but then I luckily got some in the Office inside Topshop! YAY! These are the ash university ones and I LOVE THEM!

There you go, don't need to listen to me anymore! Love Charli xoxo

Photo of the day 2!

So todays photo of the day is of one of the loveliest skylines I've ever seen. I went to see Horrible Bosses tonight with my boyfriend as it was an orange wednesday (yipee!) and thought it was brilliant, has anyone else seen it? What do you think of it? I thought it was hilarious, a really clever but funny storyline and it had some brilliant characters in it, I think my favourite was Dale, played by Charlie Day. I thought his character was really funny and his encounters with his boss played by Jennifer Aniston were hilarious! Anyway on my way home the sky was looking lovely and the view we can see over London looked so so clear so I asked my mum to stop so I could take some photos. Unfortunately my photos weren't quite as clear as I was trying to hurry up due to we think the couple in the car next to us up to no good! Haha sorry,

Outfit post; Do you want to go to the seaside?

Top: Therapy @ House of  Fraser, White vest: New look, Trousers: YesYes @ New Look, Shoes: Next

Sorry once again for crap photos, even though my actual camera is being used here rather than my tiny little webcam they still don't look so great, mainly because of the scraped back hair haha! And sorry for the scary cropping of my head in the second photo, I just didn't seem to be pulling a very attractive face :s. Anyways, wasn't it a loveeeely day today! Nice and sunny and lovely, so what do my family decide to do, tidy up and go to sainsburys! Oh well. I did manage to get a half price black maxi, which is something I've wanted to get for a while now. I think they look really nice dressed up with some wedges (which I still want to get, any ideas!?) and some nice accessories, or dressed down just with a casual top or shirt over the top and some flat sandals!
So despite today being rather hot I put on my trusty YesYes trousers ( even though they look a little crumpled in the photos) as I wasn't really outside too much, and this new Therapy tie up shirt with a cute little floral vintagey style pattern. On with my lovely brown brogues from good old Next and some lovely bracelets!
Also, Check out my new little sort of section, Photo of the day! Which I'm hoping to update every single day I can with some nice little photos for you all :)

PHOTO OF THE DAY 1!

So I've decided to add a sort of new section to my blog, Photo of the day! There always seems to be a good opportunity for photos, whether its a funny one, a sweet one, an interesting one, whatever! So here I am aiming to upload one lovely photo a day just for some fun :) hope you enjoy....
Photo of the day numero uno, is this picture of Gandy, my rather large cat lion. Today we found him asleep in our garage, on top of this old wardrobe . He even sort of rolled over and stuck his arms up in the air while I was taking some photo snaps, he's such a poser!

Outfit post; Dreams and Boho Jeans

Jeans: Hollister, Top: H&M, Cardigan: Primark

Hey :), So today I decided to start wearing a pair of quite old Hollister jeans that I bought a while back and haven't really worn since then. They're a bootcut flare pair of light wash jeans which you can sort of see in the pictures above, and as I was going through the faze of wearing my skinny jeans, I just lent these to my mum and hadn't given them much more thought. Well the other day I decided to try them back on again and as they still fitted thought I might as well wear them as Boho looking fashion seems to be around alot this summer. I chose to wear this sort of paisley printed vest top, I'm not really sure how to describe it ( and yes sorry the pictures are absolute rubbish, need to get a camera tripod!) but it has almost panels of different paisley prints all in an orangey pinky brown colour. The cardigan is quite an old one from Primark that I just felt looked right with it :). Also was very very happy when my lovely auntie had bought me some presents from the Therapy sale :D they were both a gingham print, one was this cute tie up shirt and this absolutely lovely dress, I will put some proper photos up soon!
But for now, Goodnight! Love Charli xoxo

Outfit post; Red, White and Blue

Top: Next, Trousers: YesYes at New Look, White, black and turquoise rings: JWLRY, Elephant ring: Spain! Bracelets: Links, Fatface, Accessorize, All over the place (Ask if you wanna know any specifically!)

Hey! Sorry I haven't posted for a while, been very busy! Had birthdays, shopping trips, meals, PAINTBALLING! Which actually was so fun by the way I really would recommend it! Anyway, I wore this outfit a few days ago when there was a couple of sunny days :), I found this top in the Next sale, which I think I mentioned a few posts ago and I love it! It goes with loadssss, jeans, shorts, chinos, leggings all sorts! Its a lovely colour and style but I would suggest getting it a size bigger then normal as the buttons can gape a bit. I was really happy finding this as it was reduced from £18 to £8 so I used my last scraps of money to buy it! I really do love next sales, their reductions are really really good and there is always so much you are guaranteed to find at least one thing :). Anyway, the trousers I've had on in a few other posts I just really love them, they are such a different colour but really nice and the shape is really flattering! I'm also really liking wearing my jewellery right now, I love all my rings and these new ones I got recently from an online shop JWLRY and I absolutely adore them! My favourite ring ever though is my elephant ring from spain :) and all my lovely bracelets from all over the place, I just like to pile them on!
New posts hopefully tommorow! Love Charli xoxo

Outfit post; mish mash

Cardigan: oldddd, top: Topshop, Skirt: Zara

I know, I know these pictures are RUBBISH. But I was in a rush and well yeah I need to get a good camera position going, webcam photos are pretty bad. Also not really sure about this outfit, just fancied wearing this floral skirt and thought I might try something different with the stripy top, bit of clashing prints. What does anyone else think? The top is just a navy and white crop top but because the skirt is meant to sit on the waist, the top tucked in quite well, its kinda a shame it was cold and I had to wear a cardigan as it kinda looks better without but silly me didn't even think to take pictures without. Didn't really do much apart from go to the shops were I bought some things from the Next Sale, got a really nice blue and white polka dot jersey top
and some brown brogues as I only had some nude ones and wanted some brown to go with different things. Will post about these and put up some pictures soon. Love Charli xoxo

The magic of Barry M nail effects!

I spent the whole day tidying in my pyjamas today so didn't really know what to blog about, but then looked down at my nails and thought ahah! These aren't my photos as my nails are starting to chip a bit as I really need to redo them so I thought I better not use them for my photos! I absolutely recommend this to everyone though! Its amazing. I haven't really used it much since I first bought it but rediscovered how good it is the other day, I was getting bored of my nail colour but it hadn't started to chip yet so I decided just to put a coat of Nail Effects over the top. It looks good with almost any colour, I like to use grey and pink and I think I'm going to start using it over a turquoise colour like the one above, it looks so cool! As I've mentioned in a previous post, a lot of people say to me that it looks almost like leopard print from a distance and it kinda reminds me of like a barcode! haha :). I think it comes in a few different colours now like pink and blue, which look nice, think I'm going to invest in one of those as it makes for lots of different nail variations. Anyways check out the Barry M website and I think they sell them just in most Superdrugs and Boots.

Outfit post; Flowery powery

Dress: New Look, Cardigan: Charity shop, Jewellery: All over the place!, Nails: Barry M crackle effect!

What is up with the weather!? Wanted to just wear this dress today but the weather wasn't great so I had to put on this cardigan and tights (sigh) but owellll, I do like my cardigans with dresses! I LOVE this dress from New Look, I got it last year I think in the summer and probably have worn it the most out of all my dresses, the print is really cute but you cant really see it in these pictures :( its like a blue and pinky flowery pattern with tiny blue dots and the sort of ruffley collar bit at the top is really cute! I'm also so pleased I found this chunky knitted cardigan, its so warm and is a lovely cream colour which goes with a lot of my clothes :). Used my special effects Barry M nail stuff today, bought it a while a go but hardly ever wear it, really really like it though, it almost looks like leopard print from a distance! Also I've been reading the Company High-street Edit! I love it! Its absolutely full of fashion forecasts and lovely fashiony pictures and articles, would definitely recommend it if you can find it!

Hampton court flower show and the zoo

Bit of a different post but I went to the Hampton Court flower show last week and thought it was lovely! I didn't really know what to expect, thought it would just be a load of flowers but actually I found myself getting excited about it and thought all the different conceptual gardens were really cool. I really liked one where you looked through a kind of tunnel and there was a reflection which showed all these mushrooms growing underground! Thought it was really unusual but unfortunately couldn't really get a good photo, anyway here's some photos from the show xoxo

White rabbit scarecrow for the Alice in Wonderland competition
        Another scarecrow, the caterpillar!
A Charlotte plant! which we bought!
Just some nice looking plant! Haha
Amazing 60s dress and boots made from flowers!

One of the conceptual gardens, plants hanging from the 'sky' all pretty bluey colours
Alice in Wonderland giant teacup flower pot!
Some really nice, glass I think panels in lovely colours!

Also just randomly went to London Zoo last week! I'd only ever been before when I was really little and just felt like doing something different, it was actually really good! And after getting 2for1 tickets online the price wasn't expensive at all! Definitely be going again! Love Charli xoxo

At the penguin beach, apart from no penguins in the picture :(
